Please let Jane C. know if you will be joining us by 6.00pm on Saturday 24th August
As last year –
There will be a chance to sail in a Flying Fifteen or a Comet Trio.
Please bring your own food for the BBQ.
- Arrive any time after 11.00 but by 14.00….we’ll probably pack up about 16.00 – followed by BBQ, depending on the weather.
- Bring packed lunch and BBQ food plus alcohol for those who wish.
- We have tea, coffee, cans, crisps, cup a soups, pot noodles and chocolate bars etc for sale but not ‘real’ food.
- Waterproofs and boots are fine for Flying Fifteen sailing but anyone wanting to try a dinghy should bring a wetsuit (or warm lightweight clothes) and shoes that can get wet, plus a change of clothes and a towel.
- We can lend buoyancy aids.
If anyone wants to bring partners/ family it’s a lovely place to spend the day enjoying the wildlife on the lake…there’s a nice walk around to Llangasty church….stout shoes. Also there’s a cafe on the common for ice cream etc.
Let’s hope for good weather and some breeze.
